Max Holloway defended his featherweight title for a third time

Max Holloway extended his UFC record featherweight win streak to 14!

“The Blessed”earned a convincing victory over Frankie Edgar in Saturday night’s main event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The judges’ scores were 50-45, 50-45 and 48-47 for a unanimous decision.

“Everybody said I wasn’t going to be as good a wrestler as this guy, everyone said I couldn’t keep the pace, I wanted to prove a point and go five rounds with him,” Holloway said after the fight.

“I expected everything he brought, man,” Edgar said. “Max is the best, he represents the sport great.”

The victory was Holloway’s ninth career decision win, as he rebounded from a loss to Dustin Poirier at lightweight in his last fight.
