Nikolay Yorgov vs. Jo Miyahara at SENSHI 4

One of Bulgaria’s finest Kyokushin fighters Nikolay Yorgov is set to make his 4th appearance at SENSHI.

The fourth edition of the gala evening is scheduled to take place on October 26 in Varna, Bulgaria at the Palace of Culture and Sport. As we already announced, there will be 12 bouts conducted under the full contact karate Kyokushin and K-1 rules.

Yorgov’s next adversary is Japan’s Jo Miyahara. The Japanese won the All Japan tournament in 2018 and the WKF Grand Prix 2019. He’s being regarded as one of the top Kyokushin fighters in his home country.

The Bulgarian fighter is a silver medalist from the 2019 Muay Thai World championships. He’s also a silver medalist from the KWU World Championships in 2013 and runner-up from the World championship Shinken Shobu in 2012 and from the All Japan Shinken Shobu tournament in 2010. In 2011 he claimed the All Japan championship.

The two will face each other in -80 kg fight conducted under the rules of the Professional League of Kyokushin World Union, which means elbows, head hits and throws are allowed.
