Tony Ferguson is back following meeting with UFC officials

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson (24-3) took it to Twitter earlier today announcing that he is ‘back’ and ready to return to action. “El Cucuy” met with UFC officials earlier today and shortly after broke the news of him getting back to what he does best.

The last time the 35-years-old Californian fought in UFC was last October when he TKO’d Anthony Pettis at UFC 229.  A couple of months after that, Ferguson got in trouble with the law, but now everything is fine according to the people in the company and he’s good to go.

At this point, nobody really knows when will Ferguson’s next fight be, but the list of potential opponents is nothing short of crazy – Conor McGregor, Justin Gaethje and Donald Cerrone.
