A festive Florida celebration transformed into a legal disaster for wrestling competitor Georgio Poullas. The athlete, recognized by fight fans for his appearances in the RAF promotion against top-tier talent like Arman Tsarukyan, swapped his sports gear for a jail jumpsuit following a chaotic incident in Delray Beach.
The trouble ignited at a local rental property where a combined pre-wedding party was underway. A verbal dispute between family members escalated dramatically when the groom tried to intervene and protect the bride-to-be. The situation dissolved into a physical brawl, leaving the venue in complete disarray. During the melee, the groom's brother was thrown into a glass coffee table, shattering it and causing laceration injuries.
When emergency sirens began echoing down the street, multiple attendees panicked and scattered into the night. Rather than waiting for authorities to sort out the chaos, Poullas and his brother attempted to vanish into the dark residential neighborhood. The getaway was short-lived, however, as police deployed tracking dogs to scour the area. The K-9 unit quickly sniffed out the brothers, who were discovered crouched inside a neighbor's landscaping bushes.
The night ended with Poullas being booked into custody on a felony charge of aggravated battery. While he managed to secure his freedom by posting a $1,500 bond, his summer plans now revolve around a strict legal calendar. The wrestler is expected to face a judge to answer for the incident at an upcoming court hearing on July 9.
