Arman Tsarukyan vs. Dillon Danis Officially Set to Headline RAF 14

Arman Tsarukyan is officially set to clash with Dillon Danis in a highly anticipated freestyle wrestling match. Real American Freestyle (RAF) officials announced on Monday that the two mixed martial artists will collide in the main event of RAF 14. The high-profile matchup is scheduled for October 13 at the BleauLive Theater inside the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. The winner of the headlining bout will walk away as the promotion’s inaugural middleweight crossover champion.

The booking marks a quick turnaround for Tsarukyan. The top UFC lightweight contender is already scheduled to return to the Octagon against Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 331 on September 19 in Los Angeles. Despite his primary focus remaining on a future UFC lightweight title shot, Tsarukyan has stayed highly active on the mats, making eight previous appearances for the RAF promotion throughout the year. His most recent wrestling outing ended in a narrow decision loss to former UFC welterweight champion Colby Covington.

Danis enters the matchup looking to secure his very first victory under the RAF banner. The controversial grappling specialist is currently sitting at 0-2 in his RAF career. He previously suffered a defeat to Covington in his promotional debut before dropping a highly publicized match to Khamzat Chimaev. The Chimaev event notably ended in chaos after a wild post-fight brawl broke out on stage. Will Chimaev be in attendance this time, and would that provoke another massive brawl, we shall see on October 13.
