Heavyweight powerhouse Gable Steveson kept his perfect promotional record intact with a commanding 6-0 shutout victory over former Iowa four-time All-American Tony Cassioppi at RAF 12 in Cleveland, Ohio. Steveson, an Olympic Gold Medalist and former NCAA National Champion, controlled every single phase of the heavyweight bout from start to finish.

This head-to-head match featured a massive history between the two elite heavyweights, who have crossed paths multiple times on the collegiate mats. During their careers in the Big Ten conference, Steveson completely dominated the rivalry against Cassioppi. His most notable victory came at the 2022 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships, where Steveson defeated Cassioppi in the semifinals on his way to winning the national title.

Their meeting at the RAF stage proved to be no different. Using his superior speed, quick footwork, and heavy hand-fighting, Steveson easily neutralized Cassioppi's offense and never allowed him to score.
