The long-standing personal grudge between Belal Muhammad and Colby Covington took center stage once again during the Real American Freestyle (RAF 13) pre-fight press conference in Miami, Florida. The two combat sports veterans, who have traded verbal insults for years across multiple promotions, finally met face-to-face to promote their highly anticipated freestyle wrestling championship matchup.

During the media availability, Covington launched into unfiltered psychological warfare, throwing personal insults directly at his opponent. "Chaos" claimed that Muhammad is "ugly," adding that "nobody likes him and nobody knows who he is." Covington confidently dismissed the headliner as the "easiest money of all-time," mocking Muhammad's drawing power and stating he couldn't believe he was getting paid to beat up his rival.

Muhammad fired back strongly when it was his turn on the microphone, branding Covington a "dork" who received multiple opportunities to win an undisputed UFC title but failed every single time. Expressing absolute confidence, Muhammad promised to "smash" Covington this Saturday night. He predicted he would deliver the very first knockout in RAF history and warned that Covington would leave the mats completely bloody.
