Bryce Mitchell vs. Ilia Topuria being finalized for UFC 282

An intriguing featherweight matchup has been added to the fight card of the upcoming UFC 282.

Bryce Mitchell will be facing Ilia Topuria on Dec. 10 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The promotion is yet to announce the fight officially, but the announcement is expected in the following days.

Mitchell, 28, had to fight Movsar Evloev in the UFC Fight Night 214 main event scheduled for November 5th, but Evloev withdrew from the fight due to injury. Bryce hasn't fought since March 2022 when he defeated Edson Barboza.

Topuria, 25, competed in March against Herbert in a fight he won by brutal second-round knockout. Topuria was scheduled to compete Oct. 29 but was removed from the card after opponent Edson Barboza withdrew.
