It's been three years since we last saw the one and only Nate Diaz (19-11) compete inside the Octagon.
For some time everybody believed that we've already seen his final act with his rematch loss against Conor, but a few weeks ago UFC and Nate came to the conclusion that they need each other.

Nate is known for fighting the elite and as of this moment, there wasn't a better adversary for him than Anthony Pettis (22-8). "Showtime" is coming off of a KO win vs. Stephen Thompson at UFC Fight Night 148 in March and there is no doubt that the 32-years-old will give his all to spoil Diaz's return.
Here's what Stockton's native had to say on his choice to fight Pettis this upcoming August in his home state of California.
“I think it is the best fight,” Diaz said to MMA News.
“He is coming off of a good win and he’s one of the top guys, one of the better guys in the division. Most entertaining fighter in the UFC, I like that.”
