Undefeated MMA fighter and Brave CF champion Mohammed Mokaev added another accolade to his collection after winning a gold medal at the English Wrestling Championships in Kettering.
The Buynaksk-born athlete, who has lived in the United Kingdom since 2012, triumphed in the 65 kg division, securing three of his four victories by fall. This is not his first national success — Mokaev previously won the championship in 2019.
The 25-year-old fighter has never hidden his love for freestyle wrestling and often emphasizes that it forms the foundation of his MMA style. In January, he completed a full training camp in Makhachkala with the Dagestani national freestyle wrestling team.
According to Mokaev, his next goal is to compete at the European Championships in Albania in April. As part of his preparation, he is also considering taking part in the prestigious Dan Kolov international tournament in Bulgaria.
