Topuria vs. Gaethje will be UFC White House main event

On June 14, in the main event of the UFC White House card, the promotion’s lightweight champion Ilia Topuria (17–0) will face interim titleholder Justin Gaethje (27–5).

The Topuria vs. Gaethje fight will headline the UFC White House super event.

This was reported by insider Álvaro Colmenero, who commented on a recent statement from manager Ali Abdelaziz, who is strongly opposed to the mega fight between Islam Makhachev and Ilia Topuria.

According to Colmenero, the UFC also has plans for welterweight champion Makhachev:

“He will defend his title against a ‘true welterweight,’ as Ali has said. At the moment, the frontrunner is Ian Garry. The fight date has not yet been determined.”
