Procházka vs. Ulberg for the vacant title set to headline UFC 327 in Miami

The fight between Jiří Procházka and Carlos Ulberg for the vacant light heavyweight title is expected to be the main event of UFC 327, Brazilian outlet MMA Hoje reports. The event is scheduled for April 11 in Miami, Florida, and could determine the new champion in the 93 kg division.

At the moment, the belt is held by Brazil’s Alex Pereira, who knocked out Magomed Ankalaev in the first round this past autumn. According to reports in recent weeks, however, “Poatan” is planning a move up to heavyweight in an attempt to become a champion in a third weight class. That is what opens the door for a fight for the vacated title.

For Jiří Procházka, this will be a new opportunity to reclaim the belt he once held. The Czech fighter, however, has difficult memories from his rivalry with Pereira, having lost to him twice by stoppage in title fights.

New Zealander Carlos Ulberg, on the other hand, is riding a strong winning streak and has established himself as one of the most dangerous contenders in the division. His potential clash with Procházka would pit the explosive knockout artist from City Kickboxing against the unorthodox and aggressive style of the former champion.

If the news is officially confirmed by the UFC, this will be one of the most intriguing title fights of 2026, and the winner could later face Pereira — if the Brazilian decides to return to the light heavyweight division.
