Conor announces the opponent he wants to fight

Irish mixed martial artist and former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor has confirmed that he still considers a fight with American Michael Chandler his top priority for his return.

A fan wrote on social media: “Conor vs. Chandler – or nothing.”

“Yes, that fight has to happen,” McGregor replied.

It should be recalled that McGregor and Chandler were scheduled to fight at the end of June 2024, but the bout was canceled due to a toe injury suffered by the Irishman.

McGregor has not competed since the summer of 2021, when he lost to American Dustin Poirier after breaking his leg.
