Topuria: I want a fight with Conor McGregor!

Undefeated 29-year-old Spanish-Georgian fighter Ilia Topuria, the current UFC lightweight champion, has expressed his desire to fight Irishman Conor McGregor.

“Who would I like to fight? Conor. I would like to fight him, I would really enjoy such a fight. Yes, he is not the same Conor that he was 10 years ago. But that does not matter” Topuria said during a stream hosted by blogger Adin Rosa on his YouTube channel.

The Spanish-Georgian athlete made his professional mixed martial arts debut in April 2015. He began competing in the North American Matador League in October 2020. Ilia has a record of 17 wins, only two of which by decision, and no losses.
