Tyson Pedro set for PFL debut vs. Dovlet Yagshimuradov at PFL Belfast

Former UFC light heavyweight Tyson Pedro is set to make his debut in the Professional Fighters League.

Pedro (10-5), an 11-fight UFC veteran, is scheduled to compete April 16 at PFL Belfast at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern Ireland, promotion officials recently confirmed to MMA Junkie.

He will face Dovlet Yagshimuradov (25-8-1), a former Bellator standout who captured the 2024 PFL light heavyweight championship. Yagshimuradov enters the bout after winning seven consecutive fights before suffering a unanimous decision loss to Corey Anderson in October.

Pedro, 34, left the UFC in 2024 with a 6-5 record in the promotion. Following his departure, he initially turned his focus to boxing, scoring a knockout victory over Taimoor Khan in February 2025. However, Pedro later opted to return to MMA and signed with the PFL in December.
