Poirier revealed why he is impressed by Khabib and Jon Jones

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Dustin Poirier has revealed why legendary MMA fighters Khabib Nurmagomedov and Jon Jones inspire him.

“What impresses me so much about fighters like Jon Jones and Khabib is that they’ve been able to rise to the top of the sport and stay there for so long. There are too many unknown variables, too many ways to fail or fall into some kind of trap” Poirier was quoted as saying by the Red Corner MMA account on the X social network.

The American Poirier has a professional mixed martial arts record of 30 wins, 24 of which have come by way of stoppage, 10 losses and one fight declared a failure.
