UFC Expands into Azerbaijan with Long-Term Partnership

The UFC has announced a multi-year partnership with the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Baku City Circuit Operating Company. The agreement provides for UFC Fight Night events to be held in the capital, Baku, every year through 2028.

The inaugural event, UFC Fight Night Baku, is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, at the National Gymnastics Arena, with the fight card to be announced at a later date. The event is expected to attract significant international interest and further establish the city as a host of major sporting events.

UFC President Dana White did not hide his admiration for the Azerbaijani capital and its fans.

“Baku is one of the best cities in the world to visit. It’s incredibly beautiful, and its people are known for their hospitality. The fans here are truly passionate about sports and very knowledgeable. I encourage people from all over the world to come here and experience the atmosphere for themselves,” White said.
