As preparations begin for the construction of the arena for UFC Freedom 250, UFC president Dana White has revealed who will fill a significant portion of the seats at the June 14 event, set to take place at the White House.
According to White, President Donald Trump has requested that the majority of attendees be members of the military—a plan that will be carried out.
“There will be around 4,300 people in attendance,” White said in an interview with FOX News. “I just reviewed the numbers—4,300 seats, and most of them will be allocated to military personnel.”
The UFC has also unveiled renderings of the Ellipse, a park located across from the White House, where approximately 85,000 fans are expected to watch the fights on large outdoor screens.
White noted that 85,000 tickets will be distributed free of charge, with fans required to register in advance, though specific details have yet to be announced.
Meanwhile, Ticketmaster has indicated that it will manage ticketing for the “UFC Freedom 250 Fan Fest at The Ellipse | Day 1,” scheduled for June 13—the day before the fights. As of Monday morning, its website stated that the on-sale date and time are still being finalized.
“We’re planning a wide range of activities for fans in Washington, D.C.,” White said. “It’s an incredible city that many people haven’t experienced. If you’re a UFC fan, this is definitely the moment to visit.”
The seven-fight card will be headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. In the co-main event, Alex Pereira will face Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship.
