Chimaev and Strickland аre already breaking records

The highly anticipated mega fight between UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev and American contender Sean Strickland is already breaking records.

The live YouTube broadcast of the press conference featuring the two stars attracted more than 204,000 viewers — the biggest audience for a UFC press conference since Conor McGregor vs. Dustin Poirier III. The all-time record still belongs to the showdown between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.

The fight between Chimaev and Strickland will headline the event scheduled for the night of May 9–10 in Newark.

In his most recent bout, Chimaev defeated South African fighter Dricus du Plessis by unanimous decision to win the title. Meanwhile, Strickland knocked out Anthony Hernandez.
