Two-time UFC lightweight title challenger Justin Gaethje talks about his career path in the world’s most prestigious organization.
“Obviously, I want to represent my country [at the White House], and that’s how it should be. I believe I achieved this through my efforts, my preparation, my discipline and my willingness to make sacrifices.
Whether I win or lose, I don’t know, but I’ll be 100%. I’ve been in this position many times before. I think I’ve fought for UFC titles six times, and that’s unprecedented. And I’m still here. The UFC tried to get rid of me, but they didn’t”, Gaethje said in an interview with the UFC press service before his fight with Ilia Topuria.
