FBI Foiled Alleged Terror Plot Targeting UFC Freedom 250

The FBI has reportedly foiled an alleged terrorist plot targeting UFC Freedom 250, the historic event held on the grounds of the White House.

According to reports from multiple U.S. media outlets, including Fox News, Reuters, and The Associated Press, federal authorities uncovered a coordinated plan involving explosive-laden drones and sniper teams that were allegedly intended to attack attendees at the event and nearby gathering areas. Five suspects have been arrested, while investigators have identified a broader network of up to 23 individuals linked to the case.

Authorities say intelligence regarding the alleged plot first emerged on June 10, just days before UFC Freedom 250 took place. The investigation led to arrests in multiple states following a large-scale operation involving the FBI, the U.S. Secret Service, and other law enforcement agencies.

According to court documents cited by U.S. media, the alleged plan involved using drones carrying explosives to create chaos and trigger a mass evacuation before sniper teams targeted people fleeing the area. Investigators also claim a second phase of the operation involved plans to breach White House security barriers.

The event was attended by President Donald Trump, senior government officials, celebrities, and thousands of fans gathered around the White House and the Ellipse, making security a top priority throughout the weekend.

FBI Director Kash Patel praised the rapid response of federal and local authorities, stating that the threat was identified and neutralized before it could be carried out.

“Thanks to the rapid action of the FBI, our partners, and the Department of Justice in a multi-state operation, multiple individuals are now in custody and the planned attacks were stopped cold,” Patel said.

Federal authorities continue to investigate the case, and additional charges or arrests remain possible as the inquiry expands.
