Rafael Fiziev delivered a spectacular performance in the main event of UFC Fight Night, stopping Manuel Torres by technical knockout just 15 seconds into the second round.
The decisive moment came when Fiziev landed a crushing spinning head kick that rocked Torres. Sensing the finish, he immediately closed the distance, pinned his opponent against the fence, and unleashed a perfectly timed straight right hand that forced the referee to step in and stop the fight.
With the victory, Fiziev improved his professional MMA record to 14-5, while snapping Torres' two-fight winning streak. The defeat dropped the Mexican to 17-4 and marked only the second knockout loss of his professional career.
According to Tapology, Fiziev's career finish rate now stands at 71%, further cementing his reputation as one of the most explosive and entertaining finishers in the UFC lightweight division.
Following the victory, Fiziev expressed his satisfaction with the performance and made it clear that he is aiming for the biggest fights available.
“I'm so happy, brother,” Fiziev said after the bout before hinting that he would welcome a future clash with Charles Oliveira for the symbolic BMF title.
