Islam Makhachev Training with ''Giants'' Ahead of Ian Garry Clash

Islam Makhachev is taking his upcoming fight versus Ian Garry very seriously. As it has been revealed, the Dagestani fighter has invited several considerably taller than him sparring partners whose job is to replicate Ian Garry's height and reach advantage. In a recent video, posted on the Instagram page ''combatconfidence'', Makhachev could be seen hitting pads, while the person holding them for him is noticeably bigger and taller. 

Islam Makhachev will be aiming for his first successful title defence on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at UFC 330.
