Former UFC Fighter Anthony Smith Arrested on Felony Charges

Former UFC fighter and current TV analyst Anthony Smith was arrested in Nebraska. The 38-year-old turned himself in after a warrant was issued following an argument with his wife. He faces three serious felony charges, including making terroristic threats, false imprisonment, and domestic assault.

According to prosecutors, the incident started at a bar in Gretna, Nebraska. Authorities allege that Smith threatened to kill his wife and forced her into his car. They also claim that once they reached their home, Smith tried to hit her with the vehicle multiple times. Fortunately, she was able to jump out of the way and was not hurt.

A judge set Smith's bail at $500,000. He has since been released after paying the required amount. As part of his release conditions, Smith cannot contact his wife and cannot leave Nebraska without permission. His next court date is set for August 17.
