A viral video has captured a funny backstage moment between UFC welterweight champion Islam Makhachev and rising French MMA fighter Oualy Tandia. The two crossed paths behind the scenes, and the massive size difference left the reigning 170-pound champion completely shocked.

Tandia, an undefeated Hexagone MMA welterweight champion who stands at an impressive 6-foot-3, looked enormous standing next to the UFC king. Makhachev could not believe that the giant Frenchman competes in the exact same division that he currently rules in the UFC.

"Welterweight? Bro, what is this welterweight?" a visibly confused Makhachev asked him in the video. "How much weight do you cut, bro? No way, bro. You're 90 kilos right now."

Tandia smiled and corrected the champion, revealing that his walk-weight is actually even higher. "95 bro!" Tandia replied, leaving Makhachev shaking his head in disbelief at the extreme weight cutting of his fellow welterweight.
