PHILADELPHIA — Mackenzie Dern successfully logged her first official defense of the UFC Women's Strawweight Championship, defeating challenger Gillian Robertson via unanimous decision in the co-main event of UFC 330. The five-round title bout took place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at the Xfinity Mobile Arena.

Cageside judges scored the 25-minute contest 49-46, 49-46, and 48-47 all in favor of the champion.

The matchup between two of the premier submission specialists in the division's history played out heavily on the canvas. According to official post-fight metrics, Dern dictated the pace by completing 4 out of 6 takedown attempts (66.6% accuracy) and accumulating over 10 minutes of total ground control time.

Total Striking: Dern landed 122 of 239 total strikes, while Robertson connected on 136 of 237 total strikes.

Significant Striking: Dern recorded a 38% significant strike accuracy (65 of 168), compared to Robertson's 37% accuracy (49 of 131).

With the victory, Dern's professional mixed martial arts record improves to 17-5. The win marks her fourth consecutive victory inside the Octagon. Robertson's record falls to 17-9, concluding a five-fight winning streak.

Following the successful defense, Dern expressed her intention to next face former two-time strawweight champion Zhang Weili to establish undisputed status over the 115-pound division.
