The high-stakes trilogy match will serve as the co-main event for UFC 333 on October 24 at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. This scheduled bout will finally settle a fierce rivalry that is currently tied with one victory each. Dvalishvili won their very first encounter in 2023 by using his relentless wrestling style to secure a clear decision. However, Yan completely turned the tables in their rematch last December at UFC 323. The Russian star put on a striking masterclass to take a unanimous decision victory and win back the 135-pound belt.
Yan will enter the Octagon riding a four-fight winning streak as he looks to defend his newly reclaimed crown. Meanwhile, Dvalishvili is returning from a short break after defending the championship three times during an incredibly active 2025.
