UFC legend Michael Bisping issued a stern reminder about the harsh realities of mixed martial arts on his YouTube channel. Discussing the aftermath of UFC 330, Bisping emphasized that MMA is fundamentally a brutal sport where athletes actively try to knock out, choke, or damage their opponents. He recalled his iconic war against Anderson Silva, noting that while they were bitter enemies in the cage, mutual respect only came after both men ended up in the hospital.

Bisping directed heavy criticism toward Ian Machado Garry, who lost a title bout against Islam Makhachev. "The Count" pointed out that Garry even tried to answer questions on Makhachev's behalf during the pre-fight press conference. Furthermore, Bisping argued that initiating a glove touch and trying to be friendly reveals an underlying fear. He labeled the gesture as a sign of weakness, signaling a subconscious plea to "take it easy." Bisping firmly believes Garry could have defeated the champion by adopting a more aggressive, nasty approach.

The former champion also shared thoughts on his son, Callum Bisping, who is preparing for his third amateur MMA fight. Despite Callum's 2-0 record, Bisping expressed skepticism about his son's future as a professional. He explained that Callum grew up in California next to a pool, lacking the tough, impoverished upbringing that fueled Bisping's own aggressive mentality. For Bisping, viewing opponents strictly as enemies remains essential for survival at the highest level.
