UFC star Conor McGregor has shocked fans by completely ignoring his doctor's orders to rest after major knee surgery. Just eight days after going under the knife, the Irish fighter posted a wild video on his Instagram page showing him active at a shooting range, firing a heavy, belt-fed machine gun.

McGregor suffered a serious ACL injury during his recent comeback fight at UFC 329. While medical experts agree that patients need strict rest and quiet recovery after this type of surgery, McGregor chose to get straight back to work. In his social media post, he admitted that his doctor told him to rest, but he refused, telling his followers that he decided to "load the fkin belt" instead.

The high-energy video was filmed to launch and promote his brand new energy drink company, called MAC Energy. In the post, McGregor also welcomed tactical training expert Ashton Hall to his new business team.

Instead of staying in bed and letting his knee heal, the former two-division champion is using his recovery time to build his business empire. He told his millions of followers that this unstoppable mindset is exactly what he calls "MAC ENERGY."
