Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has officially denied rumors suggesting he wants to leave the organization. The speculation started after comments from his boxing coach, alongside ongoing tension between his management team and UFC leadership. However, Aspinall used social media to clarify his future, telling fans he is absolutely not departing and that his team is actively working with the UFC to schedule his next big fight.
The British star has been on the sidelines since October 2025. His last fight against Ciryl Gane ended early as a no-contest after severe eye pokes left him unable to see. Following that frustrating night, Aspinall had to undergo three complex eye surgeries to repair the damage.
Now, the heavyweight fighter is finally healthy and medically cleared by doctors to compete again. He is expected to step back into the Octagon before the end of the year for a highly anticipated rematch against Gane to settle the championship title.
