UFC fighter Umar Nurmagomedov has spoken out after his shocking knockout loss to Song Yadong in Shanghai, China. The Russian star was stopped in the second round by a powerful uppercut. This was the first knockout loss of his career, slowing down his path to a world title fight.

Instead of making excuses, Nurmagomedov shared a powerful message on Instagram about faith and staying strong. He told fans he is already back in the gym to train and move forward.

To explain his mindset, he compared his sports loss to the real-world suffering in Gaza. He wrote that if people in Gaza can stay strong through extreme hardships, healthy people have no right to complain about losing a fight.
