Responding to heavy online criticism regarding the cage-rushing incident, Usman took to Instagram to fire back at critics. He dismissed the global sports backlash, writing that what is destined will happen, and urged people to stop treating the athletic defeat like a major tragedy when far worse crises are happening around the world.
The undefeated champion also addressed accusations that he attempted to attack his brother's opponent during the post-fight confusion. He strictly denied any malicious intent, bluntly stating that if he had truly wanted to hit Song, he would have done so.
Usman concluded his message by heavily criticizing online detractors, labeling them as envious individuals who do not understand the deep bond and love shared between brothers. He noted that those who fail to comprehend family loyalty are the ones who truly deserve pity.
