Five Fighters Earn UFC Contracts in Dominant Night at Contender Series

Dana White's Contender Series delivered another thrilling night of fights for Season 10, Week 4. Five rising mixed martial arts prospects secured their dream of joining the world’s biggest fighting league.

The action at the UFC APEX facility was highlighted by quick, explosive finishes. In the main event, Irish welterweight Adam Darby won his fight against Patrick Rivera due to a medical stoppage by the doctor in the third round. Meanwhile, Brazilian middleweight Modestino Rodrigues stole the show by knocking out Brandon Holmes in just 15 seconds.

The other big winners included Mexican lightweight Silvestre Sanchez, who knocked out Liam McCracken with a powerful left hook in the final round. Brazilian heavyweight Gabriel Lorenco also earned a contract after dropping Charlie Cleveland twice for a first-round technical knockout victory. Finally, American lightweight Adam Livingston won a tough three-round battle by a split decision over Hunter Smith to claim his spot.

Impressed by the talent and aggression, UFC President Dana White did not hesitate to award all five winners official UFC contracts. This brings the total number of new fighters signed during this season to 20.
