Share on FacebookJake and Logan Paul are officially launching a new combat sports reality competition in partnership with streaming giants Hulu and ESPN. Announced by Most Valuable Promotions, the upcoming show adopts a format heavily inspired by the UFC's The Ultimate Fighter but adds an intense survival twist.
The basic concept splits contestants into two opposing squads: Team Jake versus Team Logan. Both male and female fighters will enter the competition. Unlike traditional reality shows, contestants will apparently live and survive in a rugged outdoor environment, where they must face demanding physical and team challenges.
The elimination process also ditches standard reality-TV voting. Instead of being voted out by peers, fighters gain control over their destiny and can choose exactly who they want to face. Elimination is strictly decided by actual, sanctioned fights in the cage until only one man and one woman remain standing as champions.
Casting for the series is currently open to aspiring fighters worldwide. With the backing of major Disney-owned networks Hulu and ESPN, the Paul brothers' newest media venture aims to capture both traditional combat sports enthusiasts and mainstream reality television audiences.
