UFC rising star Gable Steveson has dropped a massive hint about a potential return for MMA legend Jon Jones. Following the shocking news that Tom Aspinall officially vacated his heavyweight championship due to serious eye complications, the division's crown is completely up for grabs.

Speaking with RMC Sport Combat, Steveson suggested that the open title might just reignite the fire inside the former champion. Steveson trains alongside Jones every single day in Albuquerque and gets a first-hand look at his current form. The Olympic gold medalist confidently stated that Jones is still moving and performing at the absolute highest level in the gym. According to Steveson, the legendary fighter still has what it takes to dominate, and he strongly believes that Jones will eventually step back into the Octagon.
