Patricio “Pitbull” Knocks Out Doo Ho Choi in One Round

Patricio “Pitbull” Freire scored an impressive victory at UFC 331 in Los Angeles, knocking out Doo Ho Choi in the first round. The Brazilian controlled the fight from the opening bell, gradually finding his range with his straight left and landing significant damage on the South Korean.

Freire remained composed and methodically increased the pressure as Choi struggled to find a way through his defense. Late in the round, “Pitbull” landed a powerful left-right combination that sent his opponent crashing to the canvas. The Brazilian immediately followed up with ground strikes, forcing the referee to stop the fight 3:28 into the opening round.

Freire therefore secured a decisive victory over the dangerous South Korean, who is known for his willingness to engage in heavy exchanges. Choi had his moments, but the Brazilian’s accuracy and power ultimately proved decisive.
