Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh has officially confirmed that the massive heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is officially signed. The long-awaited matchup will take place on December 11, 2026, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. In a major change for the sport, the historic event will bypass traditional television networks to stream exclusively worldwide on Netflix.

The official announcement ends more than a decade of failed negotiations and public arguments between the two British boxing icons. Taking to social media to share the breaking news, Alalshikh highlighted the historic difficulty of bringing the two camps together. "For 15 years no one has been able to make this fight," Alalshikh wrote.
