Barcelos Declared Stable After Terrifying UFC Main Event Injury

Raoni Barcelos has been declared stable and responsive after a frightening medical emergency at UFC Vegas 121. The 39-year-old fighter went completely unconscious during a fifth-round takedown against Raul Rosas Jr. and had to be carried out of the Octagon on a stretcher. Due to the severe nature of the injury, medical personnel immediately rushed the veteran bantamweight to a local hospital.

The promotion shared a medical update hours later to ease the worries of fighting fans worldwide. According to the official statement, the hospital medical team conducted a CT scan and comprehensive assessment on the athlete.
