King Green has touched the hearts of fight fans by sharing a deeply personal story about his living situation. The veteran UFC lightweight fighter revealed that he does not currently own a home of his own. Instead of using his fight earnings to buy a personal mansion, Green chose to invest his money into securing stable housing for his closest friends and family members.
The popular athlete clarified his unique situation by explaining that he considers himself homeless but not houseless. Green stated that because he bought homes for the people he loves, he is welcome to stay at any of their houses whenever he needs a place to sleep. He noted that he consciously chose to put the financial safety of everyone else before his own comfort to ensure they were fully taken care of.
Green explained that his background as a professional prize fighter gives him the mental and physical toughness to handle difficult living situations and figure things out on the road. He felt that finding financial stability would be much harder for his family members than it is for him. Green is currently preparing for his upcoming lightweight match against Esteban Ribovics on October 4.
