Josh Hokit has completely exploded on social media with a harsh new message aimed directly at Alex Pereira. Writing on his official X account, the undefeated heavyweight contender slammed talk of Pereira getting a title rematch. Even though Hokit is currently scheduled for a massive championship bout against Ciryl Gane this November at UFC 334, he refused to hold back against the former champion.
In his blunt post, Hokit mocked Pereira's standing in the promotion. "Did you guys hear the nonsense this idiot is talking? He gets beaten up, but he gets a rematch. I put on the fight of the year, and they almost kicked me out," Hokit wrote on his page. He then issued a direct, personal challenge, adding, "Someone tell this third-world wizard to come look for me and make sure he weighs under 230 pounds."
This heavy insult on X follows a recent interview appearance where Hokit bizarrely accused Pereira of using "black magic" and voodoo to win fights. Hokit claimed that Pereira uses his famous catchphrase "Chama" to curse his opponents, which is why he suffered a brutal TKO loss to Ciryl Gane back in June. Fans are now convinced that if Hokit wins the belt in November, a massive grudge match with Pereira will happen next.
