Alistair Overeem suffers a gruesome injury after KO loss

MMA legend Alistair Overeem (45-18) took his 18 professional "L" this past weekend when Jairzinho Rozenstruik demolished "The Demolition Man" in the very last seconds of their fight.

Not only the 39-year-old Overeem was KO'd four seconds prior to the final bell, but the way he lost will last for a long time to come. "Bigi Boy" unloaded a scary punching combination that totally destroyed Reem's lip.

Alistair had to undergo an emergency plastic surgery after the bout. The good news is that the medical procedure went well and now the fighter will just have to wait before he's back inside the cage.
