Michelle Waterson vs. Angela Hill booked for August 22

An intriguing women's strawweight fight has been booked for UFC Fight Night 177 this August 22.

Michelle Waterson will be facing Angela Hill, as both fighters will be looking to bounce back after suffering losses in their previous fights.

Waterson, 34, is on a two-fight losing streak to Carla Esparza and Joanna Jędrzejczyk after racking up three straight wins. Hill, 33, will be looking to break in the Top 10, as she also lost her last bout against Cláudia Gadelha.

The August 22 card is expected to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Those details have yet to be finalized by the promotion. Two other women’s bouts — Mariya Agapova vs. Shana Dobson and Mizuki Inoue vs. Amanda Lemos — are scheduled for the card.
