UFC veteran Diego Sanchez's most recent loss renewed the debate about whether the MMA legend should retire.
Sanchez, 38, fought against Jake Matthews at UFC 253 and lost via UD. The loss was his 13th in his whole career and a lot of fans were saying that it is time for "The Nightmare" to put an end to his MMA career.
Recently Sanchez himself admitted that he fought Matthews with a torn labrum which affected its performance.
Based off these comments, it certainly doesn’t sound like Diego’s thinking about retiring in the short-term future. Sanches's last victory came against Michel Pereira at UFC Fight Night 167 this past February.
Recently it became clear that Conor McGregor wanted to fight the vet and even proposed to Dana White to make it a main event, but the President wasn't on board with "The Notorious" on that one.
