Jan Blachowicz - Israel Adesanya headlines UFC 259

UFC President Dana White has finally announced the news we've all been waiting for.

Jan Blachowicz will be making his first light heavyweight title defense against another current UFC champion - Israel Adesanya.

The one in a lifetime showdown will be the main event of UFC 259 and it will take place on March 6. The venue of the fight night is yet to be announced.

Adesanya will be making his light heavyweight debut against the champion. 'The Last Stylebender" defeated all the big names in the middleweight division and now he got the chance to put his name in the history books, by becoming only the fifth fighter that holds two UFC belts simultaneously.

Blachowicz, 37, became the light heavyweight champion this past September when he KO'd Dominick Reyes at UFC 253.
