UFC Fight Island 7 loses a fight at the last minute

Bad news in the building minutes of the first UFC event for this year, as an exciting middleweight clash has been removed from the Fight Island 7 card.

Phil Hawes and Nassourdine Imavov won't be fighting tonight in Abu Dhabi because Hawes wasn't fit to fight and was not medically cleared in a non-COVID-19 related decision.

Hawes's manager said that they are working on rescheduling the bout for UFC 257 which takes place next week. Hawes - Imavov was pard of the Prelims card of the event that is being headlined by Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar.
