Douglas Lima headlines Bellator 260

The upcoming Bellator 260 event has its main event and it is a big one.

The fight night that is scheduled to take place on June 11 will be headlined by a welterweight championship matchup between Douglas Lima and the number one contender Yaroslav Amosov.

Lima, 33, is coming from the defeat suffered in his previous bout against the current middleweight titleholder Gegard Mousasi.

Amosov, 27, hasn't fought since November 2020. The Russian captured his sixth straight Bellator win after an SD triumph over Logan Storley.

In addition the promotion announced a pair of preliminary card bouts. This includes a featherweight matchup between Tywan Claxton (6-2) and Justin Gonzales (11-0), and a lightweight battle between Nick Newell (16-3) and Bobby King (9-3). Other bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
