Shamil Abdurakhimov vs. Tom Aspinall set for March 2022

An intriguing heavyweight clash has been announced for March 2022 in the UFC. Britain's Tom Aspinall will be facing Russia's Shamil Abdurakhimov on March 19 at a event that is yet to be announced.

Aspinall is currently on a seven-bout winning streak that includes four triumphs within the Las Vegas-based promotion. The 28-year-old Brit defeated Sergey Spivak in September via TKO in the opening round.

Abdurakhimov, 40, returned to action earlier this year after a two year hiatus. He's on a two-fight losing streak with his latest loss coming by the hands of Chris Daukaus in September.
