Tashkent will host the Asian Sambo Championships

The Asian SAMBO Championships this year will be held from 4 to 6 of June in Tashkent.

The corresponding decision was made at the online meeting of the SAMBO Union of Asian, which took place in early March. The right to host the tournament was transferred to the capital of Uzbekistan from Indonesia.

“In fact, the tournament was supposed to be held in Indonesia, but in connection with the beach games this year, it was decided to move it to another country. As a result, the application of the SAMBO Association of Uzbekistan to host the Asian Championships was accepted,” the message of the SAMBO Association of Uzbekistan says.

The previous time the continental SAMBO championships were held in Tashkent in 2017.
