Sofia to host international sambo and combat sambo tournament

The city of Sofia, Bulgaria, will host an international sambo and combat sambo tournament this fall. The event is being organized by SC "Ilinden" and it will take place at the hall "Lokomotiv" on October 6.

The 14-17-years-old will be fighting under the sambo rules, while the seniors will lace them up for a combat sambo bouts. For the first time in the history of Bulgarian sambo tournaments, there will be two separate registration categories for women.

The coordinators of the tournament are expecting sambist from Russia, Moldova, Serbia, Montenegro, Austria, Romania, France, England, and Germany.
