Bulgarian enters Top 4 of world taekwondo rankings

Hristiyan Georgiev has climbed to the Top 4 in the world rankings in taekwondo up to 54 kg. for men and women.

This is the highest ranking for a Bulgarian taekwondo player. Years ago, Vladimir Dalakliev and Kaloyan Binev had the opportunity to be in the top 50.

Just a week ago, Hristiyan Georgiev won a gold medal in the up to 54 kg category at the British Open Taekwondo Championships.

This is further proof that Bulgarian taekwondo players now have one single goal in every competition, namely a gold medal.
